One "Leader" device handles the heavy lifting of talking to the outside world (via WebRTC), while local devices stay on a fast, private lane (LAN). This keeps the audio crisp and the bandwidth low.
Zero-Config Pairing: Forget digging through settings or typing in IP addresses. Usman’s system uses simple visual cues like scanning a QR code to get devices synced and ready to work instantly.
The Virtual SFU: Normally, a cloud server has to manage every single audio stream, which can be slow. Usman moved that logic onto the "Leader" device itself. It acts like a local traffic controller, cleaning up and merging audio streams before they ever leave the room.
Khubaib Ahmad: Making Smartphones Sound Like Boardroom Hardware

Sample-Level Precision: Most VoIP apps have tiny delays that cause "phasing" (that weird, hollow sound). Khubaib’s engine aligns audio down to the individual sample, making multiple phones sound like one single, perfect microphone.
Processing at the Edge: Rather than sending raw, noisy audio to a server to be cleaned, Khubaib’s system does the "heavy lifting" like echo cancellation and noise reduction directly on the phone. This protects privacy and cuts out the delay.
Ending the "Stadium Echo": We’ve all been in meetings where someone’s speakers cause a feedback loop. Khubaib’s engine synchronizes every speaker in the room to the millisecond, ensuring audio plays in perfect unison across all devices.
